There is no single data label used for parent records or child records, it always seems to be changing, which makes automated workflows virtually impossible. Sometimes the parent id data label is called 'record_id', sometimes it's 'fulcrum_id'. The child records similarly have different names for parent_id (sometimes fulcrum_id, sometimes parent_id) and for child id (sometimes child_record_id, sometimes child_fulcrum_id). I don't know why this happens but it would be great to have a consistent automatic naming convention so that the names of these columns are always the same across apps.
