We need to be able to select the default camera for fulcrum. The new embedded camera is a pain in the butt, and has zero features. I updated fcrum, and lost the ability to use my timestamp camera app, as well as the camera app that came with the phone. Now I am stuck using whatever camera that the fulcrum developera decided to embed. You cant manually zoom anymorw. It just gives you 1x, 2x, and 3x for zoom. There is no in between. This completely sucks. We need to be allowed to select whatever camera that we want, as long as it is on your device. Either that, or expand the features of the embedded fulcrum camera, to include: full zoom in and out features, date and time stamp with option to add gps coordinates as well as the position of the date and timestamp on the photo.

Hello. We would like to use the native iPad camera features, for a better resolution. Thank you!

We really need this feature. We need to be able to use the 0.5, 1x, 2x, and 3x zoom. This will enable us to get better wider scope pictures. It takes longer to exit the software then take the picture from the regular camera then go back into the software.

Integrating Iphone camera into fulcrum.

It would be very time saving to be able to use half back zoom in the fulcrum app. Instead, I have to leave the app. Take the pictures. Then upload them.
Additonally, would it be possible to rearrange pictures? Instead of the order you take them or the random order they upload.

Increase camera zoom on Android when multi-photo feature is enabled
Vincent Lauffer
At the moment, when taking a photo in the Fulcrum app on an Android device, the zoom level with multi-photo turned on is capped at 3x, while the native android camera app can go up to 6x. Users would like to be able to zoom further when taking a photo in the Fulcrum app

Iphone Camera Setting Available in APP
Michael Dunn
Other apps i utilize allow me to use the iphone camera settings within the app. This is especially important for me as I utilize wide angle photos for most of my reports. It is a big time saver and saves on the need to reposition multiple times to fit things into the frame. Can this be done?

iPhone camera features in app

Is there a way that the wide angle (.5 zoom) or any iPhone camera feature can be used in the "in app" camera feature? Or, can it be added?

Camera brightness / focus adjustment

I am using Iphone X and Fulcrum doens't let me use the focus and brightness tools to adjust the photo. I am often photographing trees and this leaves the photos quite dark. Could you enable the standard camera operations of iphones when taking photos in Fulcrum. THanks.

Android 11 camera picker - Specify Open Camera package name
A
Andy
Hi, Android 11 now restricts the camera picker where apps such as Fulcrumapp have not specified a camera package name. See the links below for further information. The default stock camera does not record GPSImgDirection exif data which is essential for our projects. We use the "Open Camera" app on Android as this records GPSImgDirection exif data. In Android 10 and below, we could use Open Camera through Fulcrum app which resulted in our Fulcrumapp photos having GPSImgDirection exif data. However, Android 11 has removed the default camera picker thus preventing us from using Open Camera with Fulcrumapp. Apparently, developers need to explicitly state the intent by specifying the Open Camera package name. Can you please add the functionality to Fulcrumapp to allow users to select Open Camera in Android 11. Please see the various links below for more information.

EastsideGeorgiaBoy@yahoo.com Thank you for this feedback. We are looking to improve the camera functionality in the future. In the meantime, you can go into your mobile app settings and turn off the "Enable Multiple Photos" setting which will allow you to use your default camera.
Enable Multiple Photos allows you to take up to 30 photos at a time with the Fulcrum camera for each photo field on a record. Disabling this setting will allow you to utilize your device's native camera but only take one photo at a time.
